At Nu-Living, TLC programs include assessing the patient’s current health status, working with the patient to set realistic goals, creating an individualized plan of action, scheduling frequent follow-up visits with the doctor, and finally, making adjustments to the specific plan when necessary.  Wellness encompasses the idea of a healthy balance of the mind-body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being, including a healthy physical state of the body. It means more than just being disease free…it refers to achieving a higher quality of life; that is, an optimal state of health.

As nutrition supports having a healthy physical state of the body, Dr. Terlinsky helps patients achieve wellness through weight loss by teaching them proper nutrition, strategies to achieve proper eating patterns, and encourages them to decrease stress in order to achieve a healthy state of mind.  These factors all work together to improves wellness in an individuals- patients often report an improved sense of energy, mind, body, and overall sense of being.

Patients learn to replace negative, self-sabotaging thoughts with positive, confident thoughts, which give them the tools to improve their nutritional and exercise habits, ultimately leading to enhanced vitality, confident feelings about their bodies, and a new-found sense of wellness.
