Tips to Find Your Motivation

  • Determine what your incentive is to lose weight.
  • Take one step at a time. Take every day in stride, and do whatever is necessary to maintain your diet and exercise that particular day. Repeat.

  • Tell your friends and family about your goals and ask for their support and encouragement.
  • Celebrate success by rewarding yourself with small treats (NON-food), such as a bunch of flowers for every week you adhere to your plan.
  • Join a weight loss support group or an online support forum.
  • Be prepared for roadblocks, and make plans to overcome them.
  • Realize the difference between fat loss and water loss...try to avoid water loss to prevent dehydration.
  • Be aware that the last few pounds can be difficult to lose.
