Just too Busy?

  • Set your alarm clock earlier, and go to bed on time so that you can exercise in the morning.
  • Make a promise to leave work at your designated time to allow yourself a workout at the gym.
  • Commit to taking 15 minutes in the morning to make a healthy breakfast, and enjoy it.
  • Save money and calories by “quitting” the vending machines - instead, pack your own healthy meals, or buy healthy prepared meals at the store.
  • Line up a week’s worth of meals by cooking in bulk on Sunday and freezing them for later use.
  • Keep a bowl of fresh fruit on your desk at work- oranges and bananas are quick and healthy options, especially compared to vending machine options and office party platters.

Bottom line: Make a plan and stick with it!  Planning and preparing make this much more achievable.
